Roulette is a casino game in which players bet on the outcome of a spin of a wheel containing numbers. They can also place bets on the color red or black, whether the number is odd or even, and on other groups of numbers such as high or low. The game was invented in the 17th century by Blaise Pascal, a French philosopher, scientist and inventor.
